WHAT ARE COCONUT SHELL BBQ BRIQUETTES?
They are briquettes made from coconut shell charcoal dust, which are otherwise a waste and usually end up as landfill. We at FLAREON take pride in carefully processing the charcoal dust and turning them into briquettes using food grade binders.
WHAT MAKES OUR BRIQUETTES THE BEST AND ECO-FRIENDLY?
FLAREON is the only fully integrated company, making our own raw material which gives us complete control over quality and consistency of the finished product.
We use only food grade binders (maize starch) to bind and compact the briquettes. There are no chemicals or additives used, thus making our briquettes safe for barbecues. Most briquettes are laced with chemicals such as barium and sodium nitrate. During grilling, the fumes of such chemicals would come in contact with the food, which makes it carcinogenic.
Our product is environmentally friendly in every sense. Traditionally, briquettes are dried using driers which in turn either use fuel or wood to generatre heat. This defeats the purpose of briquettes being a green product. Whereas at FLAREON we dry our briquettes using 100% natural drying process. Our 55,000 Sq.ft drying yard is covered with UV sheets which traps the sun's heat and with required ventillation ensures our briquettes are dried naturally. Every batch slow dries over a period of a few days, this ensuring that there are no cracks inside and outside of the briquettes which helps in longer burning.
We take our environment impact of our businesses seriously and we generate power through our windmills, we have an installed capacity of 3.5 mega watt. The total energy consumption of all our businesses combined is only about 2.8 mega watt.
We pride ourselves in saving 1000's of trees from being felled every year for producing wood charcoal as our briquettes are made from coconut charcoal dust which otherwise have no use and end up being landfill.
